Education and Training

£85 - £95 Per day

  • Supervise and manage a classroom in the absence of the regular teacher
  • Follow the school's behaviour management policies and ensure a safe learning environment
  • Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure tasks are completed by students
  • Manage the classroom and ensure students remain on task
  • Provide support to students in their learning and assist with any questions or concerns
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
  • Experience working with children or young people
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently

Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths

Experience working with children or young people

  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to manage a classroom effectively
  • Basic understanding of educational principles
  • Patience and flexibility
  • Teaching Assistant qualification
  • First Aid certification

This role involves working in a school environment, following the school's timetable and policies. It may require standing for long periods and dealing with challenging behaviour from students. The working hours are typically during school hours.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
