About the Role:

We are recruiting Cover Supervisors to work with secondary schools across Ellesmere Port and Chester. As a Cover Supervisor, you'll step into classrooms to manage student behaviour, deliver pre-set lesson plans, and ensure a positive learning environment in the absence of the regular teacher. This role is ideal for individuals looking to gain valuable experience in schools, whether you're considering a future in teaching or seeking flexible work that fits around other commitments.

Responsibilities:

• Delivering pre-prepared lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring students remain on task
• Supporting students with their learning as required
• Reporting any incidents or issues to school staff
• Adhering to school policies and procedures

Requirements:

• Confident and effective classroom management skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A flexible and adaptable approach to work
• Previous experience in a school environment is beneficial but not essential
• A passion for education and helping young people succeed
• Enhanced DBS certificate and on the update service (or willingness to apply for one through Teaching Personnel)
