About the Role:
Teaching Personnel is looking for enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools in Basingstoke starting from October 2024. The role offers both full-time and part-time opportunities, depending on your availability.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for delivering pre-prepared lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. You will manage classroom behaviour, maintain a positive learning environment, and ensure that students stay engaged during lessons in the absence of their regular teacher.

This position is ideal for graduates, unqualified teachers, and experienced Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) looking to gain hands-on experience in education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver pre-planned lessons across different subjects and year groups.
  • Maintain classroom behaviour and ensure a productive learning environment.
  • Support students’ educational development during lessons.
  • Adhere to school policies and procedures.
  • Assist with additional classroom duties as required.

Requirements:

  • UK residency (this advert is only open to UK residents).
  • A passion for education and working with young people.
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills.
  • Flexibility to work across different subjects and year groups.
  • Previous experience in an educational setting is an advantage but not required.
