The Cover Teacher is responsible for delivering pre-prepared lesson plans in the absence of the regular classroom teacher. Duties include managing the classroom, ensuring the safety and well-being of students, maintaining a positive learning environment, and providing feedback to regular teachers about student progress.
A valid teaching qualification and relevant experience in a similar role.
Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.
Previous experience in teaching or working with children in an educational setting.
Strong classroom management skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to adapt to different learning styles. Knowledge of the national curriculum and education policies.
Postgraduate qualification in Education or relevant field. Additional training in safeguarding and first aid.
The Cover Teacher will work in a school environment following the school's schedule. May require flexibility in working hours and locations.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
