£120 - £140 Per day

  • Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans to students in the absence of the regular classroom teacher
  • Manage the classroom environment and ensure a productive learning atmosphere
  • Supervise students to ensure their safety and well-being
  • Provide feedback on student progress to the regular teacher
  • Follow school policies and procedures
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt to different teaching styles and environments

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Prior experience in a teaching role is desirable

  • Strong understanding of the national curriculum
  • Ability to effectively manage a classroom
  • Good organisational skills
  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
  • Additional training in behaviour management
  • Work in a school setting
  • Potential exposure to challenging student behaviour
  • Regular Monday to Friday schedule

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
