Salary: £120 - £140 Per day

  • Deliver pre-prepared lessons to students in the absence of the regular classroom teacher
  • Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a productive learning environment
  • Follow the school's policies and procedures for lesson delivery and student supervision
  • Assist with marking and assessing student work as required
  • Communicate effectively with school staff and parents regarding student progress
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience working in a classroom setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt to different teaching styles and environments
  • Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
  • Minimum of 1 year of teaching experience
  • Understanding of the national curriculum
  • Effective classroom management techniques
  • Ability to engage and motivate students
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Additional teaching certifications or specialisations
  • Experience working with diverse student populations
  • Full-time position with regular school hours
  • Work may involve standing for extended periods and some lifting of materials
  • Collaboration with school staff and participation in school events

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
