Teaching Personnel is excited to partner with our partner secondary school in Oldham to recruit a passionate and innovative Curriculum Leader of Computer Science.

About the Role: As the Curriculum Leader, you will be at the forefront of shaping an inspiring computer science curriculum that fosters a love for technology among students. You will lead a team of dedicated educators, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a dynamic computer science curriculum tailored to the needs of all students.
  • Provide leadership and support to teaching staff, promoting best practices in pedagogy.
  • Monitor student progress, using assessment data to enhance achievement and engagement.
  • Collaborate with other departments to integrate technology across the curriculum.
  • Engage with local businesses and the community to highlight the importance of computer science.
  • Stay updated on trends and advancements in computer science education.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Proven experience in teaching computer science at the secondary level.
  • Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A genuine passion for technology and education.
