Are you looking to kick start or continue your teaching career, working with KS3 + KS4 students in some excellent schools.

Teaching Personnel are currently working alongside a range of schools in the Tameside area that are in need of a qualified, general supply teacher, with a range of availability. This can allow for an individual with any circumstances to get themselves into a classroom, whether you’re free 2 days a week or 5 days a week.

As the biggest Education recruitment company in the UK, we’re able to offer a number of different roles in several schools, dependant on your experience/availability and to a location that fits your travel requirements.

As a Supply teacher, the role will consist of:

  • Delivering pre planned lessons, with no planning or marking required.
  • Maintaining a calm and focused learning environment for the students.
  • Providing additional support for students who are struggling with the work set.
  • Carry out informative and engaging lessons.

It would be ideal for the schools if the applicant has experience working within a similar secondary school setting, however any school experience could prove to be valuable, secondary or primary. It is essential that the teacher holds a qualified teaching status, no matter how much experience they have.

Before starting work, Teaching Personnel will require:

  • Full child workforce DBS on the update service (one can be obtained through us if you don’t currently own one).
  • 2 up to date references dating back 2 years.
  • Full QTS status or equivalent qualification.

Upon successful registration, the candidate will receive:

  • £550 - £700 per week, dependant on experience.
  • Easy to use online booking system to block out and show availability.
  • FREE safeguarding and development courses.
  • Paid weekly through PAYE.
  • Opportunity to work in excellent schools of their choice.

If you feel that you’d be a perfect fit for the role, please attach your CV below along with a short cover letter.
