Day-to-day supply teacher High Peak

Teaching personnel are currently partnered with a number of schools in the High Peak area, that are in consistent need of general day-to-day supply teachers, on a flexible basis.

The schools in hand have easy transport links with various train stations and bus stops all within a 5-minute walk, including on-site parking available.

The opportunity allows for flexible working days to suit your lifestyle and preferences, allowing you to continue your passion for teaching, whenever you are available.

Wage: the successful candidate will have the opportunity to earn between £550 - £700, dependent on days worked and teaching status.

Responsibilities: As a general day-to-day supply teacher, the role will consist of:

  • Delivering a range of lessons to key stage three and key stage four students. (No planning or marking will be required for this position)
  • Ensuring students are remaining on task and productive throughout the day.
  • Work alongside the current set of staff within the school, to manage behaviour and attainment affectively.
  • Support any students who are underachieving within the class, to hopefully push them towards their targeted levels.
  • Provide feedback and acknowledgement on students’ performance within lessons to the suitable set of staff, when requested.

Teaching Personnel:

Along with having the fantastic opportunity to earn £550 - £700 per week, through working with teaching personnel you'll also have the access to a range of different free CPD to training development courses, to enhance your teaching skills.

However even if you're already a fully qualified teacher with several years of experience, it can also be a brilliant opportunity to work a number of days that suits your needs, without the extra requirements of having to plan and mark outside of school hours.

Requirements:

When registering with ourselves, there will be a number of different requirements that the applicant will need, before starting work within the schools:

  • Up to date full child workforce only DBS certificate, that is on the update system. (This can be obtained through Teaching Personnel if you do not currently own one).
  • Two work based references, that date back over two years.
  • Completion of our online safeguarding course.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
