Teaching Personnel is actively seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Day-to-Day Supply Teachers to join our team in Stockport. This role offers qualified teachers the flexibility to work in various schools while gaining valuable experience in diverse educational settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Pre-Planned Lessons: Execute lessons provided by the regular teacher, ensuring learning objectives are met.
  • Classroom Management: Maintain discipline and create a focused learning environment using effective behaviour management strategies.
  • Provide Feedback: Offer constructive feedback to the regular teacher on student progress and classroom dynamics.
  • Support Student Development: Foster positive relationships with students, encouraging engagement and participation in learning activities.
  • Follow School Policies: Adhere to safeguarding, health and safety, and student welfare procedures.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a solid understanding of the UK national curriculum.
  • Experience: Previous teaching experience, with the ability to cover a range of subjects and year groups.
  • Skills: Strong classroom management, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in new environments and work effectively under pressure, particularly on short notice.
