We are working with a forward-thinking educational institution committed to providing students with a comprehensive understanding of design and technology. Their mission is to cultivate creativity, problem-solving skills, and practical abilities in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach a broad range of Design and Technology disciplines, including textiles, electronics, woodworking, and CAD/CAM.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to various learning styles.
  • Encourage students to think critically and innovate through hands-on projects.
  • Oversee the maintenance of workshop equipment and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the integration of design technology across the curriculum.
  • Support extracurricular activities, such as design competitions and workshops.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in Design and Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience teaching all areas of Design and Technology at secondary level.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to fostering creativity and technical skills in students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
