Job Description:

As a Design and Technology Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Design and Technology department. You will assist teachers and students, ensuring the smooth running of practical lessons and maintaining a safe, efficient, and well-organised working environment. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about design and technology, eager to inspire the next generation of creators and innovators.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare, set up, and maintain equipment, tools, and materials for practical lessons.

- Assist teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons by providing technical support.

- Ensure all health and safety regulations are met, conducting regular checks and risk assessments.

- Support students during practical activities, offering guidance and supervision as needed.

- Manage and organise the storage of materials and equipment, ensuring they are in good working order.

- Help develop and construct teaching aids and demonstration models.

- Contribute to the department's planning and development of resources and projects.

- Maintain accurate records of equipment and materials usage.
