Teaching Personnel have an exciting opportunity for a Design & Technology Teacher to join an Ofsted 'Good' Secondary school situated in Middlesbrough. This position is due to start in April with the potential for a permanent contract for the right person.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience or feel confident teaching Textiles and Resistant materials within an educational setting. This position is open for Newly Qualified Teachers and Qualified Teachers who are available and specialise in DT.
About the role:
As a DT teacher, this is the perfect opportunity for you to captivate students’ attention and incorporate interactive learning for this fun and practical subject. You have the responsibility of ensuring students health and safety in the classroom, but be able to support the great projects they create. You will have to monitor the development of student’s and be motivated to help students achieve beyond expectations in the classroom. This valued consistency must be reflected in engaging and effective lessons. In return, the appointed Teacher will feel valued and mentored, which is at the heart of the schools philosophy.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
