Design Technology (DT) Teacher – Secondary School (Basingstoke)
Start Date: January 2025
Position: Full-time, Long-term

We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Design Technology (DT) Teacher to join a secondary school in Basingstoke. The successful candidate will teach DT across the age and attainment range at both Key Stage 3 and 4, fostering creativity and practical problem-solving skills in students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging DT lessons, including practical and theoretical components
  • Teach a range of DT subjects such as product design, graphics, and resistant materials
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback
  • Ensure a safe and supportive learning environment

Candidate Requirements:

  • Qualified DT Teachers
  • ECTs (Early Career Teachers) qualifying this year are encouraged to apply
  • Unqualified teachers with relevant experience are welcome to apply
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
