The PWR team at Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a distinguished Grammar School in Rochester, Kent, in search of an exceptional individual to fill the role of Director of Music. About the Role:

As the Director of Music, you will play a pivotal role in providing professional leadership and management of the curriculum area, ensuring high-quality teaching, effective resource utilisation, and improved standards of learning and achievement for all students. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leadership and Management: Lead the music department with enthusiasm, fostering a culture of excellence and creativity.
  • Curriculum Development: Develop and implement a dynamic and engaging music curriculum that inspires and challenges students of all abilities.
  • Student Engagement: Inspire and enthuse students, nurturing their musical talents and fostering a love for music within the school and its wider community.

What You Will Need to Succeed:

  • Qualified Music Teacher with a degree in Music.
  • Strong leadership qualities, with a student-centered approach to education.
  • Outstanding classroom practitioner with a depth of subject knowledge.
