  • Teaching: Deliver high-quality drama lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4, following the national curriculum and the school's schemes of work.
  • Lesson Planning: Prepare engaging and differentiated lesson plans to cater to the diverse needs and abilities of students.
  • Assessment: Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and setting targets for improvement.
  • Extracurricular Activities: Lead and support drama-related extracurricular activities, including school productions, drama clubs, and theatre trips.
  • Classroom Management: Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment, managing behaviour effectively and promoting a love for drama.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues, parents, and carers to support student development and participate in departmental meetings and professional development opportunities.
  • Qualifications: A degree in Drama or a related subject, and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience: Proven experience teaching drama at the secondary school level is preferred, though newly qualified teachers are also encouraged to apply.
  • Skills: Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to inspire and motivate students.
