Are you passionate about the performing arts and eager to inspire the next generation of actors, directors, and playwrights? A thriving secondary school in Salisbury is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic full-time Drama Teacher to join their dynamic team from September 2024.

Position: Drama Teacher (Full-Time)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging drama lessons to students across various year groups.
  • Foster a love for the performing arts and encourage student participation in school productions and extracurricular activities.
  • Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to integrate drama into the wider school curriculum and activities.
  • Contribute to the planning and execution of school events, performances, and showcases.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A degree in Drama, Performing Arts, or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.
  • Previous experience teaching drama at the secondary school level is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • A passion for teaching and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
