Are you passionate about the performing arts and dedicated to inspiring students through drama? We are seeking an enthusiastic and creative Drama Teacher to join our vibrant school community in Rochdale.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and dynamic drama lessons across Key Stages 3-5, nurturing students’ talents and confidence.
  • Develop and implement a creative and inclusive drama curriculum that inspires a love for the performing arts.
  • Direct and oversee school productions, ensuring high standards and student participation.
  • Encourage students to explore different aspects of theatre, including acting, directing, and stagecraft.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create interdisciplinary projects that enhance the overall learning experience.
  • Provide mentorship and support to students, helping them to develop their skills both on and off the stage.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Drama or Performing Arts.
  • A deep passion for drama and the ability to inspire students of all abilities.
  • Experience teaching drama at the secondary level, with a track record of success.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • A commitment to professional growth and a collaborative approach to working with staff and students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
