Teaching Personnel are working with a supportive secondary school in Portsmouth, who are seeking an enthusiastic teacher of Drama to join a happy, thriving and growing school. 

The successful candidate will have confidence, enthusiasm and a passion for teaching. They will be capable of planning for students from a variety of backgrounds and abilities, and inspiring them to reach their full potential.

You will be required to teach Drama to KS3 and KS4 students. This position is a short term temporary role on a cover basis initially with the potential to continue should you get on well in the role. 

Teaching Personnel have an outstanding reputation for training and developing colleagues. Therefore, applications are welcome from ECTs as well as experienced teachers.

 The successful candidate will ideally have:

  • Experience of delivering Drama/Music GCSE
  • Suitable school-based references
  • Have and up to date DBS with the Update Service/be willing to apply for an enhanced DBS
  • A willingness to undertake CPD and contribute to the wider school life
  • Be educated to degree level
  • Hold QTS (or an equivalent qualification)
