Position: D&T Teacher (Hard Materials)

  • Pay: £31,650 - £49,084 (M1 – UPS3)
  • Contract: Full-Time
  • Start Date: ASAP

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Broad understanding of the Design and Technology curriculum with a specialism in one area of D&T
  • Hard materials specialism is desirable but not required
  • Excellent classroom management skills
  • Child-only DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply, with our assistance)
  • Two professional references from recent employment

Job Brief:

  • Teach KS3 and KS4 D&T to students of varying abilities
  • Plan, deliver, and mark both practical and theory D&T lessons
