Position Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Design Technology Teacher to join our network of supply staff. This role involves delivering engaging and comprehensive design technology lessons to secondary school students, helping them to develop their creative and technical skills. The successful candidate will have the flexibility to work in various schools across Liverpool and the surrounding areas on a temporary or contract basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality design technology lessons that align with the national curriculum.
  • Inspire and engage students through dynamic teaching methods and hands-on learning activities.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their technical and creative development.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and motivated.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification in design technology education.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Design Technology or a related field.
  • Proven experience teaching design technology at the secondary school level.
  • Strong knowledge of design technology content, teaching methodologies, and curriculum standards.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in different school environments.
