Position: Design Technology (DT) Teacher
Location: Hornsea, East Yorkshire
Hours: Full-time/Part-time options available
Salary: Competitive, based on experience

As a DT Teacher, you’ll deliver engaging and practical lessons across various aspects of Design Technology, helping students develop hands-on skills in areas such as product design, engineering, and materials technology. You will foster a safe, creative, and supportive environment where students can bring their ideas to life.

• Planning and delivering high-quality DT lessons aligned with the curriculum
• Supporting students in projects, guiding them through design and practical processes
• Monitoring and assessing student progress, offering constructive feedback
• Promoting safety and responsible equipment use within workshops
• Collaborating with colleagues to develop engaging curriculum materials

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience in teaching Design Technology
• Strong understanding of DT curriculum and best practices in safety
• Excellent organizational, communication, and classroom management skills
• Passionate about hands-on learning and fostering creativity
