We pride ourselves on recruiting and placing all graduates in their ideal teaching role! Last September was our largest in-take of Key Stage 1 Teacher, who had just left university – all our school’s welcome newly qualified teachers / early career teachers and so do we!

The responsibilities of a Key Stage 1 Teacher include:
  • Overseeing the curriculum planning and delivery to reflect needs of the children.
  • To work in conjunction with teaching and non-teaching staff
  • To lead an Early Years Foundation Stage/National Curriculum area of learning by undertaking a series of clearly specified responsibilities.
  • To be an excellent role model for a team of teaching assistants and visiting students, emphasising the needs for high standards in behaviour and dress at all times
The successful Key Stage 1 Teacher must have:
  • QTS/PGCE Qualification
    • BA Hons in Primary Education (QTS) 
    • PGCE (Primary QTS)
  • You must have graduated in 2022 / 2023 or be due to graduate this year.
  • 2 education-based references
  • A passion for teaching
  • Good approach to behaviour management
  • A determined, hard-working attitude
