About the Role:

As a valued member of the team, you will work closely with heads of department to deliver outstanding educational experiences. You’ll need to be well-versed in your curriculum and passionate about your subject.

Requirements:

  • Recent Humanities ECT eager to begin a teaching career.
  • Enthusiastic about the flexibility that agency work offers.
  • Willing to apply for a fully enhanced DBS check.
  • Able to provide at least two employment references.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teaching: Engage and educate KS3 and KS4 students across various levels of ability.
  • Planning and Delivery: Create and execute lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs.
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the department’s goal of improving academic results.
  • Extracurricular Involvement: Participate in and support a range of extracurricular activities.
  • Student Support: Build strong relationships to support student development.
  • Progress Monitoring: Track and report on student progress, providing feedback to students, teachers, and parents.
  • Safeguarding: Stay vigilant and proactive about safeguarding procedures and handling any issues that arise.
