We are currently recruiting for an ECT, for one of our Primary schools in North Manchester and we would love to hear from you!
The school are looking for an excellent classroom practitioner to inspire, challenge and motivate children to achieve and provide an outstanding curriculum that will engage all learners to be successful and proud within their learning at school and beyond and to work with parents to develop positive relationships and be fully engaged in school life.
What your day will look like?
- Leading classes by delivering lessons, demonstrating tasks, assigning tasks, and encouraging discussions.
- Deliver phonics and interventions where necessary.
- Prep and support the children’s development and learning.
- Supervising students while they complete tasks independently.
- Setting homework or exercises for students to practice their skills after class.
- Developing and marking examinations to measure students’ progress.
- Assessing and reporting on students’ academic achievements and behaviour.
What do you need?- A relevant degree or qualification (PGCE, BEd or a school direct placement) (QTS).
- An enhanced DBS registered to the update service (If you do not hold this, we can arrange for you at a cost of £44, which is refundable once you have completed ten days in your new role.)
- Able and willing to travel to the area.
- 2 references.
- A passion for teaching/supporting.
- Good approach to behaviour management.
- A determined, hard-working attitude.
