Are you an experienced and passionate Early Years professional looking to support the development of the next generation of childcare workers? We are seeking an Early Years Assessor to join our dedicated team and play a key role in guiding apprentices through their qualifications and career progression.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and support learners working towards Early Years qualifications (Level 2, Level 3, and beyond).
  • Conduct regular workplace visits to observe and evaluate learners’ practical skills.
  • Provide guidance, feedback, and tailored learning plans to ensure learners meet qualification standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of learners' progress and assessments.
  • Liaise with employers to ensure learners receive appropriate support in their roles.
  • Ensure all assessments are carried out in line with awarding body and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Recognised Assessor Qualification (such as A1, TAQA, or equivalent).
  • Previous experience in assessing Early Years qualifications.
  • Strong knowledge of Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) standards.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently, with a flexible and proactive approach.
  • Relevant Early Years qualification (Level 3 or higher) and experience working within the Early Years sector.
