Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Early Years Level 3 Practitioner to join our thriving Early Years team. As a permanent member of staff, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care and education to our children, aged 2-5 years old.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and stimulating activities for children, ensuring their individual needs are met
  • Develop and implement effective learning strategies to promote child development and progress
  • Work closely with the Early Years team to ensure seamless transitions and continuity of care
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of children's progress, including assessments and observations
  • Support the development of the Early Years team, contributing to training and professional development initiatives
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment for children, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations

Requirements:

  • Level 3 Qualification in Childcare and Education (or equivalent)
  • Excellent knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
  • Strong understanding of child development and learning theories
  • Proven experience working in an Early Years setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the children and the team

Working Hours:

  • Full-time position, 30 hours per week
  • Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 3:30pm (with occasional flexibility required)
