  • Collaborate with fellow Teaching Assistants in a dynamic classroom to enhance play and learning experiences for nursery and reception students.
  • Ensure Safety: Remain vigilant and engaged at all times to maintain a safe environment for children.
  • Support Development: Assist children in developing their numeracy and language skills through engaging daily activities.
  • Encourage Independence: Foster independent work while promoting social interaction and peer engagement.
  • Create a Positive Atmosphere: Cultivate a caring and safe space to encourage children’s growth and development.
  • Follow Policies: Adhere to the school’s safeguarding and protection policies.
  • Assist with Personal Care: Support children with their personal care needs as required.
  • Location: Newport
  • Start Date: November 2024
  • Salary: Starting at £83.34 per day
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM
  • Registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC).
  • Hold a Child-Only DBS certificate registered on the Update Service.
  • Provide two professional references from the past 24 months.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
