This role is ideal for someone who wants to support Early Years students with special educational needs (SEN), providing them with the encouragement and tools they need to thrive.

  • Position: SEN EYFS Teaching Assistant
  • Location: Blackpool (FY4)
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Hours: Full-time, term-time
  • Support young learners in their Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), helping create an inclusive and positive learning environment.
  • Work closely with teachers to plan and deliver tailored activities for SEN pupils.
  • Use a nurturing approach to support pupils' social and emotional development, fostering independence and confidence.
  • Implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and track student progress, celebrating their achievements and adjusting support as needed.
  • Experience working with Early Years and/or SEN pupils is highly desirable.
  • Patient, empathetic, and passionate about making learning accessible and enjoyable for all students.
  • Strong communication skills and an ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, and external professionals.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
