As an ECT working on supply, you will have the opportunity to build your teaching experience across a variety of secondary schools in Manchester. This role is ideal for newly qualified teachers who want to develop their skills, explore different school environments, and enjoy the flexibility of supply work. You will deliver pre-set lessons, manage classrooms, and support students' learning, all without the added responsibilities of planning and marking.

  • Lesson Delivery: Teach pre-prepared lessons across a range of subjects and year groups.
  • Classroom Management: Maintain a positive and productive learning environment.
  • Student Engagement: Support students in their learning and ensure they stay on task.
  • Adaptability: Work in different schools, experiencing a variety of teaching environments.
  • Qualifications: QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or completion of a teacher training program.
  • Experience: This role is ideal for Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking to gain experience in different schools.
  • Skills: Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work across various secondary schools in the Manchester area.
  • DBS Check: An enhanced DBS check is required for this role.
