Teaching Personnel are working alongside a fantastic autism charity who have a position opening for an employability coach to cover their 3 sites in Teesside, Sunderland and Newcastle. As an employment coach you will be supporting children and young adults aged 16-24 with autism as they take their next steps and progress into the working world.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Provide excellent 1:1 support to assist in overcoming barriers to employment and training.
  • Confident in coaching and building core skills that allow an easy transition into the workplace.
  • Have professional or personal experience working with SEN.
  • Be confident with delivering coaching on CV writing, Interview preparation and job searching.
  • Develop personalised employment plans that match each students’ individual strengths.
  • Have past experience in pastoral care or coaching.
  • Be able to drive or have a reliable transport to Sunderland, Newcastle and Stockton.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
