Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young learners? Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and experienced Engagement Tutor to join our team, specialising in providing tailored support to students who need that extra boost in their learning journey.

As an Engagement Tutor, you will work with students who require additional encouragement to re-engage with their education, helping them develop confidence, motivation, and essential skills to succeed in their studies. This role is perfect for those who have experience in education, mentoring, or coaching, and have a knack for building rapport with students who face challenges in a traditional learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 or small group tutoring to students in need of re-engagement.
  • Develop personalised learning plans to suit individual student needs.
  • Foster a positive and encouraging learning atmosphere.
  • Track and report on student progress, adapting approaches as necessary.
  • Collaborate with school staff and parents to ensure the best outcomes for students.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Previous experience in tutoring, teaching, or mentoring.
  • A passion for education and supporting learners with varied needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and the ability to motivate and inspire students.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in approach to meet each learner’s unique requirements.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
