  • Deliver high-quality English and Maths GCSE tutoring to students in the East of England, specifically in Braintree, Essex.
  • Develop individualised lesson plans based on students' needs and assessment results.
  • Provide academic support and guidance to help students achieve their learning objectives.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as necessary.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff to ensure a collaborative learning environment.
  • Previous experience in tutoring or teaching English and Maths at the GCSE level.
  • A relevant teaching qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

A degree in Education, English, Maths, or a related field.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in tutoring or teaching English and Maths at the GCSE level.

  • Deep understanding of the GCSE curriculum for English and Maths.
  • Ability to engage and motivate students to achieve academic success.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience working with diverse student populations.
  • Additional certifications in education or tutoring.
  • Part-Time hours with flexibility in scheduling.
  • Work primarily in educational settings such as the learners home or community centres.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
