  • Deliver engaging and effective English and Maths GCSE tutoring sessions to students
  • Develop tailored lesson plans that cater to the individual learning needs of students
  • Track and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to help them achieve academic success
  • Collaborate with school staff and parents to ensure a supportive learning environment
  • A relevant degree in English, Maths, Education or related field
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience in teaching or tutoring English and Maths at GCSE level

  • Strong understanding of the GCSE curriculum and assessment requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Organisational skills to manage lesson planning and student progress effectively
  • Postgraduate qualification in Education
  • Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds
  • Temporary position with Full-Time hours
  • Collaborative work with school staff, parents, and students

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
