Education and Training

£20 - £30 Per hour

  • Deliver high-quality tutoring sessions to GCSE students in English and Maths
  • Create engaging and interactive learning experiences to support students' academic progress
  • Develop tailored learning plans to meet individual student needs and learning styles
  • Provide regular feedback to students and their families on progress and areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with school staff and stakeholders to ensure alignment with curriculum objectives

A relevant teaching qualification

Degree in English, Maths, Education or related field

Previous experience in tutoring or teaching English and Maths at GCSE level

  • Strong understanding of the GCSE curriculum and assessment requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve their academic goals
  • Organisational skills to plan and deliver effective tutoring sessions

Additional qualifications in education or subject-specific areas

This role requires working with students in an educational setting, typically during school hours. Some flexibility in working hours may be required to accommodate students' schedules and additional support needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
