Salary: £20 - £30 per hour
- Deliver high-quality outreach tutoring sessions in English and Maths to GCSE level students.
- Assess students' learning needs and develop tailored lesson plans to support their educational goals.
- Provide individualised support to students to improve their understanding and performance in English and Maths.
- Monitor and track student progress, offering feedback and guidance for improvement.
- Collaborate with school staff and parents to ensure a holistic approach to student learning and development.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Strong knowledge and expertise in teaching English and Maths at GCSE level.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and engage students in their learning.
- A degree in Education or relevant subject area.
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a similar role.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Up-to-date knowledge of the UK curriculum and assessment requirements for GCSE English and Maths.
- Experience in providing outreach or community-based educational support.
- Additional qualifications in Special Educational Needs (SEN) or related field.
- This role is based in Broomfield, Essex, with travel to various outreach locations in the East of England.
- Full-time hours are expected, with some flexibility required to accommodate student schedules.
- You will work closely with students, school staff, and parents to support the educational needs of GCSE students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
