The English and Maths GCSE Tutor will be responsible for delivering high-quality tutoring sessions to students preparing for their GCSE exams. Duties include preparing lesson plans, conducting one-on-one or group tutoring sessions, assessing student progress, and providing feedback to help students improve their English and Maths skills.

Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field. A teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent) is required. Strong knowledge of the GCSE curriculum for English and Maths is essential.

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Minimum of 2 years of experience in teaching English and Maths at the GCSE level. Experience in tutoring or mentoring students is highly desirable.

Demonstrated ability to engage and motivate students. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong understanding of different learning styles and the ability to adapt teaching methods accordingly.

Master's degree in Education. Previous experience in preparing students for GCSE exams. Additional qualifications in special education or literacy support are a plus.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
