Education and Training

£20 - £30 Per hour

  • Deliver high-quality tutoring in English and Maths subjects to GCSE level students
  • Create and implement individualised lesson plans based on students' needs
  • Assess and track students' progress and provide feedback to both students and parents/guardians
  • Utilise a variety of teaching methods to engage students and enhance their understanding of the subjects
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practises and improve teaching techniques
  • Qualified teacher status (QTS)
  • Specialisation in English and Maths education
  • Experience in tutoring or teaching GCSE level students
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Minimum of 2 years of teaching or tutoring experience in English and Maths subjects

  • Strong understanding of the GCSE curriculum and assessment criteria
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students
  • Proficiency in using educational technology to enhance learning
  • Postgraduate qualification in Education
  • Experience in working with students from diverse backgrounds
  • Work in learners homes
  • Interacting with students, parents/guardians, and colleagues on a daily basis

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
