Education and Training

£20 - £30 Per hour

  • Provide tailored English and Maths tutoring to Key Stage 3 students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
  • Create engaging lesson plans to support students' learning and development
  • Assess students' progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
  • Collaborate with the school's SENCO and other staff members to ensure students' individual needs are met
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and achievements

A relevant teaching qualification

Experience working with students with SEMH needs

Knowledge of the KS3 curriculum

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Proven experience in teaching or tutoring English and Maths to Key Stage 3 students

Strong understanding of SEMH and strategies to support students with these needs

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual student requirements

Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs (SEN) or related field

This role involves working in a home environment with students who have SEMH needs

Full-time hours, temporary position

Salary of £20 - £30 per hour
