£20 - £30 Per hour

  • Deliver engaging and effective English and Maths lessons to KS3 students
  • Assess students' learning needs and develop tailored lesson plans
  • Provide constructive feedback to students to support their academic progress
  • Monitor and track student progress, adjusting teaching methods as necessary
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for students
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Strong subject knowledge in English and Maths at KS3 level

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

At least 2 years of experience teaching English and Maths to KS3 students

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Proficiency in using educational technology to enhance learning
  • Experience in teaching students with special educational needs

This role involves working with students in their home setting during school hours. The tutor may need to adapt to different school environments and collaborate with other teachers and staff members.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
