Flexible Tuition Role: English and Maths, KS3/KS4, around 10 hours per week

TP Tutors offer 1:1 support to students needing support and are looking for a tutor who can tutor Maths and English up to GCSE in Tattershall. This role may require working both in the home and school to support students approaching exams.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, create and teach engaging sessions and lead exam prep for GCSE students
  • Track progress and plan next steps.
  • Inspire children to achieve.
  • Be aware of the child’s needs and interests and plan to this accordingly.
  • Implement behaviour strategies to ensure children are focussed.

What you need:

  • Experience of teaching English and Maths or working with children across the subjects
  • Range of experience working with children in different settings
  • Ability to develop effective behaviour management strategies.
  • Apply skills to help children catch up and progress with their learning.
  • Able to track progress and plan next steps in children’s learning.

To be successful in your application, you must be able to provide evidence of this as skills and experience.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
