Are you passionate about helping students improve their English Language and Literature skills? Teaching Personnel are currently seeking a dedicated English Intervention Specialist to join one of our client schools in Tameside. This role offers an immediate start with a competitive salary ranging from £425 to £500 per week.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement personalised intervention plans for students struggling with English.
  • Provide one-on-one or small group instruction to support students.
  • Collaborate with teachers to align intervention strategies with classroom teaching.
  • Monitor student progress through assessments and adjust interventions as needed.
  • Communicate regularly with parents to update them on student progress.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance and development.
  • Participate in meetings with the school’s intervention team to discuss progress and share best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or related field.
  • Experience in intervention or tutoring settings.
  • Strong knowledge of English language arts concepts and instructional strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with assessment tools and data analysis.
