The Role:

As an English Specialist Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting young learners' literacy development. Your passion for language and literature will contribute to inspiring lessons, captivating storytelling sessions, and imaginative writing workshops. You will collaborate with our talented teaching staff to tailor lessons to meet individual needs, ensuring each child reaches their full potential. This full-time position spans two terms, starting in October 2024, with the potential for a permanent role for the right candidate based on successful outcomes. We offer a competitive rate of pay at £12.90/hour.

Requirements:

• A genuine love for the English language and literature

• Relevant qualifications or experience in education (desirable)

• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with children and colleagues

• A creative and resourceful approach to teaching and learning

• Enthusiasm for fostering a stimulating and inclusive learning environment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
