Responsibilities:
*
Deliver engaging and effective English lessons to students from Key Stage 3 through to Sixth Form, ensuring alignment with the national curriculum.
*
Assess, monitor, and report on the progress of students.
*
Implement and develop lesson plans that cater to a range of abilities, inspiring a love of English among students.
*
Contribute to the creation and delivery of extra-curricular activities that enhance the students' learning experience.
*
Participate in departmental meetings and school training events to continuously improve teaching standards and outcomes.
*
Foster a positive learning environment that promotes student well-being and academic achievement.

Requirements:
*Possess a relevant degree and a PGCE in English.
*Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
*Demonstrate a minimum of two years’ teaching experience in the subject area, ideally within a secondary school setting.
*Exhibit strong classroom management skills and the ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students.
*Show commitment to ongoing professional development.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
*A proven track record of facilitating student progress in English.
*Be legally entitled to work in the UK.
