Secondary English Teacher

Teaching Personnel have been approached by the headteacher of a specialist provision within the Chorley area (PR7) who is keen to employ an enthusiastic Secondary English Teacher. This provision is a fully inclusive school who provides an education for children with SEMH (Social Emotional Mental Health) and who display signs of challenging behaviour.

As a Secondary English Teacher, you will be responsible for engaging the students in learning activities and promoting positive behaviours. This role will require the educator to plan memorable learning activities that meet the needs of all pupils, academically, socially, and emotionally. As the children lack self-confidence and self-esteem, the educator will embed activities that enable the children to build on these attributes. Within the classroom there will be Teaching Assistants and therefore, the educator will be accountable of ensuring they are fully aware of the daily routines, needs of the children and planning.

- £100 - £150 p/day (dependant on experience)
