Teaching Personnel work in partnership with a successful 11-16, mixed comprehensive trust school located in Emsworth, graded ‘GOOD’ in all areas by Ofsted.  The school are seeking a teacher of English to join the department from September 2024 on a temporary basis, initially until Christmas 2024 but there is opportunity for a longer term or permanent position. 

The appointed educator will be required to teach English Language and English Literature across KS3 and KS4, all KS4 pupils are taught AQA English Language and Literature.  The school will consider a full time or a part time teacher, working days for the part time option would be 4, Tuesday – Friday, full teaching responsibilities will be required, and this role will be paid to scale. You will be joining a successful department of passionate teachers with pupils who are engaged and keen to learn.  Exam results speak for themselves with 71% of pupils achieving grade 4 or above in 2023.
