Role Overview:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective English lessons to Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) students.
  • Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing targeted support where necessary.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the English curriculum and share best practices.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to further enhance teaching skills.

Requirements:

  • A relevant degree and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Strong knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 English curriculum.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
