Salary: Competitive, depending on experience

A dedicated Secondary SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) school committed to supporting students with complex needs. They provide a nurturing and inclusive environment that focuses on both academic success and emotional well-being. The Role:
As our English Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and differentiated English lessons tailored to meet the diverse needs of our students.
  • Support students in developing their literacy skills and fostering a love for learning.
  • Work closely with our pastoral and SEN teams to provide holistic support, addressing both academic and emotional needs.
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment where all students can thrive.
  • Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of students with SEMH, ensuring they are fully engaged and supported in their learning journey.

What We’re Looking For:

  • PGCE or PGCE with (QTS) and experience teaching English at the secondary level or an
  • A strong understanding of SEMH and experience working with students who have complex needs.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
  • Flexibility, resilience, and a positive approach to working in a challenging yet rewarding environment.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all students.
