Salary: £140 - £250 per day, depending on experience

Teaching Personnel is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated English Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Tameside after the October half term. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire students and contribute to a successful English department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and challenging English lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Use a range of teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of all learners.
  • Monitor and assess students’ progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative resources and schemes of work.
  • Contribute to the wider school community through participation in extracurricular activities and events.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a specialist in English.
  • Experience teaching English in a secondary school setting.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for literature and language.
  • Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development and a proactive approach to teaching.
