We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic English Teacher to join a vibrant and supportive secondary school in Southampton. The Role
As an English Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver high-quality lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students, with opportunities for Key Stage 5 teaching.
  • Foster an environment that encourages creativity, critical thinking, and a love for reading and writing.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, adapting lessons to meet the needs of all learners.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and collaborate with the English department to drive achievement.
  • Play an active role in the pastoral care and development of students, ensuring their well-being and success.

Requirements

  • A UK-recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
  • Experience teaching English at secondary level.
